Hi. I just became a Boston Marathon finisher and I must say, my legs are more sore than they were after any other marathon I've run so far. Any suggestions?? I've been stretching twice daily. Also, I'm tempted to try running today, should I wait?

yes, the quads take a serious beating. couple different schools of thought-- some go for a short very easy run after, some just rest and stretch and ice, some may do some light swimming. personally, i go for the rest, stretch and ice route. congrats. enjoy some r&r. you just conquered boston

Thank YOU for a very helpful blog site. I look forward to reading it in preparation for Boston '08! This is the first marathon where I immediately wanted to do it all over again as soon as I crossed the finish. Amazing, simply amazing!

I'm coming to Boston 08, but don't like the hotel approach(or the rates). Do you know of a site where I can ask to stay with a local runner?
